Jumbat Studio terms of use

These terms form the agreement between you (and the company you act for) and Jumbat Project Management Services, a sole proprietorship registered in Abu Dhabi under Economic Licence CN-6035735 (“Jumbat”, “we”). By signing in to Jumbat Studio you accept them. Last updated: 9 October 2026 (version 2).

1. What Studio does

Jumbat Studio prepares draft construction technical submissions: method statements, risk assessments, inspection and test plans, checklists, quality and HSE plans, emergency response plans and comment responses, inside the templates you provide, and checks the set for internal consistency. Anyone can create an account with a valid email address; we may decline or close accounts used in breach of these terms.

2. Drafts are AI-assisted and must be reviewed

Studio uses artificial intelligence, guided by Jumbat’s method and reference material, to prepare drafts. Drafts can contain errors or omissions, and site conditions, client requirements and regulations change. Every document must be reviewed, completed where marked [SPECIFY], and approved by a competent person on your side before it is issued, submitted or used on site. You remain responsible for the documents you issue and for the safety of your works. Studio does not replace the professional judgement of your engineers, HSE staff or consultants.

3. No guarantee of approval

We work to produce submission-ready drafts, but approval is decided by your client, consultant and the relevant authorities. We do not guarantee that any document will be approved, or approved without comments.

4. Your content

• You keep all rights in the documents, templates and information you upload, and in the documents Studio produces for you.
• You confirm that you are entitled to upload what you provide (including client-mandated templates, logos and project information) and to have it used to prepare your documents. Do not upload material you are not permitted to share.
• Do not upload priced bills of quantities or unnecessary personal data. Studio rejects files that contain prices.
• You give us permission to store and process your content only to provide the service to you. We do not use it to train AI models, and we do not use it for any other customer.

5. Confidentiality and data

We treat your projects as confidential. They are visible only to your account (and, if you work in a team, to its current members) and to Jumbat’s administrator who prepares and checks the drafts. Projects created in a team belong to the team: if a member leaves or is removed, the projects stay with the team and that person loses access. The team owner manages who is in the team. How we handle personal data, including AI processing and the service providers we use, is described in our privacy notice. You can delete a project and all its files at any time from the project page. Order, invoice and payment records are kept for as long as UAE commercial and tax law requires (currently five years), even after a project or account is deleted.

6. Acceptable use

You may order documents for your own projects or for projects you carry out for your clients. Our agreement is with you, the account holder who orders and pays; we have no obligations to your clients, and you are responsible for making sure the review described in section 2 takes place before anything is issued to them.

Keep your sign-in to yourself, and do not attempt to access other users’ projects, interfere with the service, or reverse-engineer it. We may suspend access that breaches these terms.

7. Fees

Prices are set out on the pricing page and shown again, with what is included, next to the payment button before you pay. You pay per order by card through Ziina, our payment provider, and the payment is confirmed on your order page. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. You receive an invoice by email when you pay. Orders not paid within 14 days are cancelled.

Scope. Each order covers the disciplines (civil, MEP or IT) and documents you choose. If your scope shows work in a discipline you did not order, we tell you before you pay; that work is drafted only if it is ordered. A method statement covers up to 40 construction activities: a larger scope is split into further documents, and we quote the difference before drafting starts. If you do not accept the quote, you can cancel with a full refund.

Information we need. If the information you provided is missing or cannot be used, we put the order on hold and email you. Delivery times pause while an order is on hold. If we do not hear from you within 7 days, we cancel the order and refund it in full.

Jumbat Reviewed delivery. A Jumbat Reviewed set is delivered within 3 working days of a complete, paid order. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UAE public holidays. If we miss that time, we refund the review fee (AED 200 per set).

Revisions. One round of revisions is included with each delivered document if you request it within 90 days of delivery; further rounds are AED 50 per document, paid before the round starts. A revision answers the consultant’s comments on the document Studio delivered. Studio revises its own version and carries over the items you completed, such as [SPECIFY] values. It does not revise sections you added yourself or documents Studio did not prepare; comments on those are noted in the comment response sheet as outside the submission we prepared. If a comment asks for new scope (for example a new activity, discipline or document), you choose whether it is left unaddressed in the response sheet or quoted as new work. Moving delivered documents into a different template, for example when the consultant changes, is AED 50 per document.

Refunds and cancellation. If you cancel before your documents are delivered (or, for Jumbat Reviewed, before our review has started) you receive a full refund less the card processing fee. If we cannot deliver, you are not charged or are refunded in full. Documents are prepared specifically for your project, so no refund is available once they have been delivered; the included revision round is the remedy if something is wrong, and we correct any error that is ours at no charge. By placing an order you confirm you have read this policy.

8. Availability

Studio is provided during early access on a reasonable-efforts basis and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or outside our control. Keep your own copies of documents you download.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by UAE law, Jumbat is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from documents issued without the review described in section 2, and our total liability in connection with Studio is limited to the fees you paid for the documents concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to users and published here with a new date, and each order records the version you accepted. You can stop using Studio at any time and delete your account from the Account page. We may end access with notice, and will give you a reasonable opportunity to download your documents first.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi.
